Asphalt repairs in many places in the city area

The asphalt surfaces on the following roads will be renewed: Anton-Schulte-Straße, Elsterkamp, Margaretenstraße, Vorhelmer Straße 168a-172, Ostwall between Nordstraße and Linnenstraße, Paterweg in the bridge area, Zum Wasserturm, Lippweg, Zementstraße in Beckum, An den Tannen, Amselweg and Breslauer Straße in the first section in Neubeckum, Ringstraße in Roland and Pankratiusstraße in Vellern.

The necessary preparatory work will begin on Monday, 9 September and is expected to last until 10 October, depending on the weather. The town of Beckum requests that you do not park over street drains and manhole covers in the streets mentioned during this period. The respective road section must be completely closed for the work, the pavements remain fully usable.

For the road closures, stopping restrictions will be put in place with a lead time of 3 days and residents will be asked to park their cars outside the roadworks area. The roads can be reopened to traffic just 4 hours after the repair work has been completed.

The City of Beckum will inform the affected residents in a separate letter and asks for their understanding.
