In October 2013, 46 first-year students started a dual study programme in mechanical engineering at Münster University of Applied Sciences in Ahlen/Beckum/Oelde. The number is a record and at the same time proof that the offer is extremely attractive for career starters and, of course, also for companies in Beckum.

Münster University of Applied Sciences has been offering this Bachelor's programme with a total of 110 places in cooperation with Ahlen, Beckum and Oelde since the winter semester 2009/2010.
