Big Beckum Business Talk 2026

The Beckum Business Forum takes place every two years and brings together representatives from the worlds of business, politics and society. The focus of this year’s event, which will take place on 5 November 2026 at the BY Event Hall on Lake Tuttenbrock, will be a keynote address by the former Chair of the German Council of Economic Experts, Prof. Dr Dr h.c. Lars P. Feld of the University of Freiburg and Director of the Walter Eucken Institute, on current economic developments.

In the subsequent panel discussion, company representatives Dipl.-Ing. Simone Kriener-Schröder from Heinrich Kriener Bad & Heizung and Paul Hannot from Schrader T+A Fahrzeugbau will outline the policy requirements for strengthening the region as a business hub. In addition, Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich will present the local authority’s perspective and outline the necessary local framework conditions.

The evening will be hosted by Markus Bußmann, press officer for the town of Warendorf, who is known to many residents of Beckum as the former deputy editor-in-chief and presenter of Radio WAF.

The evening will be rounded off with light refreshments and an opportunity for discussion and networking.
