6 new slides in the urban area

When equipping playgrounds, the town of Beckum always ensures that the play equipment complies with the latest regulations. In recent months, for example, 6 slides that no longer met the prescribed standard were replaced.

  • The new wave slide in Vellern

Most of the old slides still had rung ascents, which were sometimes difficult to climb. The new slides are all equipped with steps. The gaps between the steps are closed so that it is no longer possible to fall through. There is a special feature for Vellern: the new slide there is a wave slide, which is even more fun to whizz down. Initial feedback has been consistently positive.

The new slides are located at the following playgrounds: Heringsdorfer Straße, Reichenbacher Straße, Fontanestraße, Kellerort, in Roland at the old school and in Vellern at the Am Stichelbach playground.
