Neubeckum outdoor pool honours 36,500th visitor

End of the season at Neubeckum outdoor pool

Shortly before the end of the season, the 36,500th swimmer was honoured in Neubeckum. The Förderverein Freibad Neubeckuum e. V. presented regular guest Stephan Vogt with a voucher for a 2027 season ticket.

He also received a bouquet of flowers from the pool team. The Westkirchen resident has been visiting the Neubeckum outdoor pool for 20 years, sometimes twice a day.

On Sunday, 14 September, the pool will open for the last time this season, which started on 11 May. With 1,688 bathers, 2 July was the day with the most visitors. Thanks to Reinhard Habrock's donation, children and young people enjoyed free admission 3,850 times.

As part of the 85th anniversary of the outdoor pool, there were some additional activities. In addition to the outdoor pool festival organised by the Förderverein Freibad Neubeckum e. V., the foam party and mermaiding provided special outdoor pool moments.

The Neubeckum outdoor pool will be extensively renovated in the coming year and will therefore reopen in the 2027 season.
