New trainees start at the city of Beckum

Two administrative assistants, one IT specialist, two civil servant candidates for the dual Bachelor of Laws degree programme, two emergency paramedics, one emergency paramedic, one trainee for the practice-integrated training programme for nursery nurses and one student for the dual degree programme in social work began their training.

Thomas Wulf, the mayor's general representative, and Laura Karrengarn, Head of Human Resources, warmly welcomed the new trainees to the town hall. Mr Wulf praised the trainees' decision to choose a profession that serves the community.

The training team, Doris Hölling and Anna-Lena Seelige, were delighted with the large number of new talents and gave an initial overview of the structure and tasks of a local authority.

The youth and trainee representatives and the staff council welcomed the trainees with a joint breakfast. Further programme items are planned for the new trainees in the coming weeks, including a listening tour through Beckum and a quiz to find out more about the town and its special features.
