Adult Education Centre Beckum-Wadersloh

Quality seal for a further 4 years

The external report highlights several aspects in particular, including the well-organised customer service on site, which guarantees contact from 08:30 to 20:00, the highly motivated team, the 200 lecturers who remain loyal to the adult education centre - also due to the good service, the pleasure in dealing with the participants and their learning success, the empathetic and personal atmosphere, the technical equipment, innovative topics, the online help on the website with regard to course registration and the open access to the building and rooms.

The presentation of the certificate was celebrated during a small drink with the Mayor of Beckum Michael Gerdhenrich, the Mayor of Wadersloh Christian Thegelkamp and the Head of the Department of Education, Culture and Leisure Cornelia Baumann. Both mayors emphasised the successful, almost 50-year cooperation between the town of Beckum and the municipality of Wadersloh and found words of praise and appreciation for the employees of the further education institute, who were thanked for their outstanding performance: VHS Beckum-Wadersloh ranks second in the NRW ranking in terms of school-leaving qualifications, fourth in terms of the number of teaching units held compared to similarly sized adult education centres and fifth in terms of continuing education density.

With the successful retesting, the adult education centre remains part of the constantly growing LQW network and is allowed to use the corresponding quality seal, which among other things enables the implementation of integration courses on behalf of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, for a further four years.
