More comfort for cyclists with trailers and cargo bikes

The area has been adapted so that longer or wider bikes can also cross more easily. The circulation barriers were extended to 2.50 metres for this purpose.

The signage at the crossing has also been adapted to make cyclists aware of the applicable safety rules: Cyclists must dismount at all level crossings.

The measures were implemented in close coordination with the Westfälische Landes-Eisenbahn (WLE). The aim is to make the crossing more convenient to use and to ensure road safety at the same time.
