Night of Youth Culture offered a Japanese feeling at the Altes E-Werk
Under the motto "Japan feeling in Beckum - everything to do with manga, gaming and more!", children and young people enjoyed a varied programme into the evening, which was met with great enthusiasm.

The manga workshop with artist Alexandra Völker, who created figures together with the participants and sparked a lot of creativity and good humour, was particularly popular. Those who wanted to could also fold origami and design colourful lanterns. Gamers tried their hand at Japanese consoles and VR goggles, while collectors played exciting duels in the trading card tournament.
Another highlight was the green screen photo station in cooperation with the Beckum public library, which produced numerous imaginative pictures. The event ended with pizza and music in a relaxed atmosphere - a successful conclusion to an eventful day that whetted the appetite for further projects at the Altes E-Werk.
The event was sponsored by the Landesvereinigung Kulturelle Jugendarbeit NRW e. V. (NRW State Association for Cultural Youth Work).
