More comfort and safety for cyclists

In order to improve functionality and safety, the route will be widened to a width of 2.50 metres. This will create more space for cyclists and pedestrians.

The work will begin as soon as the weather permits, probably next week. During the work, some trees that have already died will have to be removed. New trees will be planted to compensate for the impact on the existing trees. This will ensure the ecological quality of the area in the long term.

For the duration of the construction work, a diversion of the cycle route will be set up via the road "Auf dem Jakob". The route will be reopened in time for the start of the next cycling season. There will be a break during the Christmas holidays.

The city asks all road users for their understanding for possible restrictions and thanks them for their consideration during the construction period.
