The city of Beckum has had an administrative digitalisation strategy since 2022.

With the vision "Together digitally in modern working environments", a continuous process towards a digital town hall is being implemented.

The update of the digitalisation strategy in 2025 marks another milestone on the way to a modern, future-proof municipal administration in Beckum. Building on previous experience, the strategic fields of action will be sharpened and adapted to new technological and social developments. The establishment of end-to-end digital processes, the design of flexible and hybrid working environments and the needs-based further development of digital service offerings remain key elements. The digital transformation is not a static state, but a continuous process that requires both technical and cultural changes.
