Dog deregistration

If you move away from Beckum with your dog, if you have sold or given up your dog or if your dog has died, you must deregister your dog so that the dog tax can be cancelled. If your dog has been put to sleep, please bring proof of this with you. The dog tax stamp must also be returned.
After deregistration, you will be sent a notice of change to the dog tax.
You can send the signed cancellation form by fax to 02521 2955-2132 or by e-mail to rump@beckum.de.
You can also deregister in person at the municipal citizens' offices.
In the case of so-called "dangerous dogs", you have an obligation to report and notify.
