Youth Leader Card (=JULEICA)

  • Performance specification

The youth leader card identifies volunteers working with children and young people. It serves to strengthen volunteer commitment, to legitimise it vis-à-vis third parties and as proof of entitlement to rights and benefits that are linked to the function of "youth leader" or explicitly to this card. In Beckum, for example, this is the reduced fee for using the swimming pools.
Prerequisites for obtaining the card are sufficient practical and theoretical qualification for the tasks in children and youth work and the ability to organise activities with children and young people responsibly as well as knowledge of "first aid". As a rule, the holder of the card should have reached the age of 16. In special cases to be justified by the organisation, the card can also be issued to youth leaders aged 15.
