Dog registration

If you take a dog into your household, you must register it with the city.
After registration, you will be sent the notice of the dog tax.
You can send the signed registration by fax to 02521 2955-2132 or by email to lillemannstoens@beckum.de.
You can also register in person at the municipal offices.

For the keeping of so-called "dangerous dogs" and for dogs of certain breeds there is an obligation to report and notify. Details are regulated by the State Dog Law.
Permission to keep the above-mentioned dogs is granted by the city after examination of the individual case.

The Department of Law and Order is responsible for issuing the permit.
As the dog registration is forwarded in-house, you do not need to take any action.
