Dog registration

If you take a dog into your household, you must register it with the city.
After registration, you will be sent a notice of dog tax.
You can send the signed registration form by fax to 02521 2955-2132 or by e-mail to rump@beckum.de.
You can also register in person at the municipal citizens' offices.

For the keeping of so-called "dangerous dogs" and for dogs of certain breeds, there is an obligation to register and notify. Details are regulated by the state dog law.
Permission to keep the above-mentioned dogs is granted by the city after an examination of the individual case.

The Department of Law and Order is responsible for issuing the licence.
As the dog registration is forwarded in-house, you do not need to make any arrangements.
