The Beckum fire brigade offers its services around the clock, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In an emergency, we provide fast and qualified assistance.
Fires are rare these days, often they just smoulder or smoulder.
Large fires, the original reason for the creation of fire brigades, have become rare and only a small part of daily operations.
Should a fire nevertheless break out, the firefighters of the "fire defence" team are ready to rescue people from the danger zone as quickly as possible, prevent the fire from spreading further or combat or avert other dangers.
In addition to firefighting, "fire defence" also provides a wide range of technical assistance services. The fire brigade is called out to rescue people and animals, deal with road traffic accidents and oil spills, open doors in suspected emergencies, water damage and many other situations where citizens no longer know how to help themselves.
A special task force of the Beckum fire brigade is deployed in the event of accidents involving hazardous substances and goods.
