Exemption from the biowaste container

Every property owner in the city area is obliged to connect their property to the municipal waste disposal system (compulsory connection).
You are obliged to dispose of organic waste in the authorised waste containers.
You can be exempted from this connection and utilisation obligation.
However, an exemption from the obligation to use the organic waste container can only be granted if the following conditions are met:
It must be comprehensibly and conclusively demonstrated by the person obliged to connect/use that he or she is professionally and technically capable of properly and harmlessly treating compostable materials that accumulate on the property. This means that all organic, compostable garden and household waste produced must be recycled by the applicant.
For example, through home composting, agricultural utilisation or similar.
You will find the relevant application form below.
Please submit the completed and signed application to the Environment and Greenery Department for processing. You will be called to discuss the collection of the organic waste container.
