Benefits under the Advance Maintenance Payments Act (Unterhaltsvorschussgesetz - UVG)

  • Performance specification

    Single parents who do not receive the maintenance payments due for their child from the other parent can apply to the Social Services Department for advance maintenance payments until their child reaches the age of 18, subject to certain eligibility requirements.
    When the child reaches the age of 12 or 15, further eligibility requirements must be checked.
