Declaration of care

Parents of a child who are not married to each other can submit a declaration of joint parental custody (= custody declaration) to the Social Welfare and Youth Welfare Office. The Social Welfare and Youth Welfare Office advises child mothers and fathers on the legal questions regarding this declaration of custody. Likewise, negative certificates are issued upon application if no declaration on the exercise of joint parental custody has been submitted.
