The Social Services department arranges subsidised housing. It is also possible to be entered in the housing seeker register. An application form must be completed for this purpose. There is no charge for registering on the housing seeker register.
The first requirement for moving into a subsidised flat is that you have a corresponding housing entitlement certificate (WBS). Details can be found in the topic Housing entitlement certificate.
With the WBS, you are generally authorised to move into a subsidised flat.
The Social Services Department will help you to find a flat if there are suitable housing offers. There is no legal entitlement to obtain a flat.
