The mayor or his representative personally congratulates couples on the occasion of their golden (50th), diamond (60th), iron (65th), grace (70th) and crown jewel (75th) wedding anniversaries and presents them with a gift in addition to the congratulatory letter.
The date of the civil marriage ceremony is decisive.
If the couple wishes, congratulations can also be sent at a later date, for example on the date of the church wedding.
As a rule, the city is aware of wedding anniversaries. The responsible clerk at the cultural office will contact the couple or their relatives by telephone or post approximately five to seven weeks before the event to agree on the form, date, place and time. If your wedding anniversary is coming up and you have not yet received a call or mail from the city administration, please contact the responsible clerk.
