Waste containers (registration, deregistration and exchange)

The city of Beckum disposes of the following types of waste in waste bins or containers:

• Residual waste (container with grey lid)
• Organic waste (container with brown lid)
• Paper (container with blue lid)

The residual waste and organic waste bins are collected fortnightly. The paper bins are emptied every four weeks.

Each property owner must provide a capacity of 10 litres per person per week for each of the three types of waste mentioned. The following waste bins are available:

• Residual waste: 80 litres, 120 litres and 240 litres
• Residual waste container: 1100 litres (weekly or fortnightly collection)
• Organic waste: 120 litres and 240 litres
• Seasonal organic waste from April to November: 120 litres and 240 litres
• Paper: 240 litres

You can register and deregister waste bins by telephone or in writing.
