Moving to another municipality
If you move within Germany, it is sufficient to register in the new town/municipality, which will then notify the town of Beckum accordingly. The registration register in Beckum will then be updated accordingly.
Deregistration of secondary residence
Do you have a secondary residence in Beckum that you are moving out of? Then you can deregister this secondary residence online.
Note: If you are moving out at the same time as moving into a new flat, you can do this at the same time at the location of the new flat.
The law states: If the person subject to the registration obligation moves out of one of their secondary residences in Germany and does not move into a new residence, they must inform the registration authority responsible for the secondary residence or the registration authority responsible for the sole or main residence.
Deregistration abroad
Deregistration in Beckum is only necessary if you are moving out of a flat (sole residence in Germany) and are not moving into a new flat in Germany, for example, are you moving out of your flat in Beckum and moving abroad? Then you can deregister this flat online.
