Performance specification
If you are registered in Beckum, the Beckum Citizens' Office will issue you with a simple registration certificate on request.
A fee of 9 euros is charged for the simple or extended registration certificate (private purposes).
Simple registration certificate
You can apply for the simple registration certificate ONLINE. Payment can be made using PayPal, for example, and only via the application. If you need a free registration certificate (for a public authority), you must apply for it directly at the Citizens' Office. It is not possible online.
The online application can be submitted by persons over the age of 16 who are registered in Beckum.
The simple registration certificate contains the following data in accordance with Section 18 of the Federal Registration Act:
- Family name
- First names
- Doctoral degree
- Date of birth
- Current addresses, labelled according to main and secondary residence
Extended registration certificate
On request, you can also obtain an extended registration certificate (e.g. marriage registration).
You can apply for the extended registration certificate ONLINE. Payment can be made e.g. with PayPal and also only via the application. If you need a free registration certificate (for a German authority), you must apply for it directly at the Citizens' Office. It is not possible online.
The extended registration certificate contains the following data in accordance with Section 18 of the Federal Registration Act:
- Family name
- First names
- Doctoral degree
- Date of birth
- Current addresses, labelled according to main and secondary residence.

- Affiliation to a religious organisation under public law

- Proof of life
Notes:
Please note: For reasons of data protection, we can only issue registration certificates in person or send them by post to the registered address.
If a third party is applying for a registration certificate, please provide them with a qualified power of attorney and your identity card. This also applies to family members, spouses and adult children.
