Parking authorisations

For certain groups of people such as

• Shop owners (e.g. in the pedestrian zone)
• Craftsmen/craftswomen
• Residents of certain streets
• Severely disabled persons

parking authorisations can be issued if certain conditions are met.
These then entitle the holder to park in certain parking spaces without a time limit or to drive in the pedestrian zone without displaying a parking disc.

Parking permit for business owners

Business owners with a shop, company or shop in the centre of Beckum can apply for a parking permit for the parking zone.

For business owners (managing directors, freelancers), several licence plates can be entered, but only one parking permit will be issued. The parking permit is exclusively for the business owner. The vehicle must be registered in the name of the business owner or in the name of the company.

If a business owner's vehicle is registered in the name of the wife/husband or an adult child, these licence plates can also be entered on the parking permit. The vehicle licences must be presented. The same registration address is important here. If the business owner lives with a partner in the same household, a confirmation of use from the partner must be presented in favour of the business owner.

Parking permit for craftsmen/tradeswomen

A company's vehicle must be labelled with a fixed company sign with a minimum size of DIN A 4. The original, clearly legible permit must be displayed in the vehicle and handed over to authorised persons for inspection on request. The exemption authorisation is revocable until the end of its validity.

You are authorised to drive a company vehicle during the work assignment. 

1. to park in a no-parking zone (VZ 290 StVO) without having to use a parking disc
2. parking in public car parks where parking discs are compulsory, at parking ticket machines without a parking disc and without observing the maximum parking time
3. to park in pay and display car parks for an unlimited period of time without paying a parking fee

• The following car parks are excluded from the exceptions:
  1. Clemens-August-Straße car park
  2. East gate car park
  3. 30-minute car parks

Parking permit for residents

You can apply for a parking permit online. Once your application has been received, the parking permit will be sent to you by post within the next few days. Payment can be made via Paypal, for example.
