Performance specification
Transmission blocks
You can use transfer blocks to prevent your registration data from being transferred to certain institutions.
You can set up the following transfer blocks at your registration authority:
- Data transfers to religious communities under public law
- Information to political parties, voter groups and other organisers of election proposals
- Information on anniversaries
- Information to address book publishers
- Data transfer to the Federal Office of Personnel Management of the German Armed ForcesThe transmission blocks are only set up for this place of residence. If you want to exclude data transmission for all residences, you must set up the transmission blocks with the relevant registration authorities.
Setting up transmission blocks is free of charge.
You can submit the application to set up transmission and information blocks under ONLINE APPLICATION . Payment can be made e.g. with PayPal and also only via the application.
Information blocks
The registration authority may provide third parties with simple information from the population register and, under certain conditions, extended information from the population register. You can request that no information from the population register be passed on to private individuals or non-public bodies. However, this is only possible if you can personally demonstrate that you or another person could be at risk to life, health, personal freedom or similar interests worthy of protection if information is provided from the population register.
How is the application submitted?
You can only apply for the establishment of a transmission or information block in person at the Beckum Citizens' Office. You can submit the application informally or using the form below.
To do this, you must provide evidence of the risk by means of suitable documents (e.g. judgements, criminal charges, medical certificates, confirmations from victim protection centres, institutions for protection against violence, employers).Legal basis
