At many places in Beckum and Neubeckum, visitors can log on to public, free WLAN.

There is free wifi here:

Beckum:

• St. Stephen's Church Square
• Bus station
• Marienpark
• North Road
• East Road

Neubeckum:

• Hauptstraße from Ennigerloher Straße to Turmstraße
• Town Hall Square Neubeckum

Then, both in Beckum and Neubeckum, the entire pedestrian zone, the market and event area and the Beckum bus station will be equipped with free WLAN.

Funding
The investment costs (hardware and installation) amounting to 15,000 euros were fully funded with EU funds. The running costs are borne jointly by the City of Beckum and the sponsors Sparkasse Beckum-Wadersloh and Energieversorgung Beckum.

New partner company
For the 4 new locations as well as the planned further expansion, the city of Beckum is working together with the operating company The Cloud Networks.
