Summer holidays at the Beckum outdoor pool

Free admission for children and young people thanks to the Wiedeking Foundation

Great news for families: during the 2025 summer holidays, all children and young people under the age of 18 will have free admission to Beckum outdoor pool.

This is made possible by the Wiedeking Foundation, which is known to be involved in many social projects. "We always ask ourselves what we can do for Beckum and especially for disadvantaged families. That's when we came up with this idea," say Heinz-Josef and Günter Wiedeking. "There are many people who could really use this, especially in these times," they add.

Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich and the Förderverein Beckumer Schwimmbäder e. V. thanked them for the generous donation and are delighted with this refreshing news. "Hopefully many people will take advantage of this and enjoy the outdoor pool, even beyond the summer holidays," said the mayor.

The season at Beckum outdoor pool starts on Sunday, 18 May - with free admission for everyone on the opening day!
