Lift in a suit

The Albertus-Magnus-Gymnasium is not only busy learning, but has also been undergoing intensive modernisation since last summer. The lift in the atrium has been taking shape since Monday.

Steel scaffolding at the AMG

Following the replacement of the windows and the refurbishment of the concrete façade, work is now visibly progressing in the atrium. The shaft scaffolding for the new lift has been under construction there since the beginning of the week. The assembly of the steel scaffolding and the cladding with insulated panels will take around two weeks. The installation of the actual lift is planned for February.

At the same time, the fire protection in the main staircase is being improved. The new walls are already in place and will be painted shortly. The fire doors are also expected to be installed in February.

On the other side, the steel frame for the lift is gradually being erected.
