ISEK projects in Neubeckum
2 Green spaces are being upgraded
As part of the integrated urban development concept for Neubeckum town centre (ISEK Neubeckum), the two centrally located green spaces "Platz der Städtepartnerschaft" and "Park Villa Moll" are to be redesigned and upgraded. The aim is to create attractive and high-quality recreational areas for all generations. Urban development funding from the federal and state governments can be used for the realisation.

A landscape architecture firm was commissioned to develop an open space planning concept. A central component of the planning process is public participation. The design variants will be presented to the public on 9 May, the nationwide Day of Urban Development.
Interested parties already have the opportunity to contribute comments and suggestions: Until the end of February, posters will be displayed in the Neubeckum neighbourhood living room (Hauptstraße 37) and in the Neubeckum leisure centre (Gottfried-Polysius-Straße 5) where ideas can be noted down. There are special posters for children on which they can design their own personal "dream park". The city centre management is also available every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the district living room for discussions.
The town of Beckum cordially invites all citizens to actively participate in the design of the two green spaces and to contribute their ideas.
