Deckchairs bring summer flair to the city centre

In Beckum's city centre, the motto is once again: Please take a seat and linger! The city centre management of the city of Beckum is once again launching its popular deckchair campaign and invites you to enjoy the city centre in a relaxed atmosphere.

  • Hanging out in the city centre? No problem - with the inviting deckchairs in front of numerous shops.

To this end, the city centre management provides local shops and businesses with deckchairs free of charge. The aim of the campaign is to create an additional quality of stay and make the city centre even more attractive - especially in the summer months.

The response has been pleasing: numerous businesses have already placed the inviting furniture in front of their shops. At the same time, further deckchairs are available so that interested companies can participate at any time.

Traders from Beckum and Neubeckum town centre who would like to take part can still contact the town centre management of the town of Beckum: Helga Grothues, grothues@beckum.de, 02521 29-1705. The deckchairs simply have to be collected independently, brought in outside opening hours and returned at the end of the season.

With this campaign, the town of Beckum is giving a visible boost to the revitalisation of the town centre. In the coming months, all visitors should therefore take a seat, linger and enjoy.
