Holcim donates for new playground benches

Thanks to a generous donation from Holcim, families in Beckum can look forward to new seating in several playgrounds.

A total of 10 modern and easy-care benches made of recyclable plastic were purchased and will be installed in the coming weeks.

"We wanted to do something for the playgrounds and make a contribution to families," explains plant manager Alexander Floria. The specialist department for children, youth and family support gratefully accepted the donation of 8,000 euros and ordered the new benches. They will be installed by the Beckum municipal works.

The benches will be installed at the following playgrounds: Sachsenstraße, Oppelner Straße, Soestweg, Rosenbaumweg and Kellerort. With its donation, Holcim is helping to further improve the quality of life in Beckum's playgrounds and strengthen meeting places for children and families.
