Elections on 14 September

What to do without voting documents?

The election notification letters informed all eligible voters that the local elections and the integration council elections would be held next Sunday. A small number of the election notification letters could not be delivered, for example because the letterbox was not labelled correctly.

Voting with ID
Eligible voters who - for whatever reason - have not received a polling card can still vote on election Sunday. The prerequisite is that they are entered in the electoral register. They can also go directly to the polling station on election Sunday without a notification letter, present their ID card and cast their vote. Under the heading "Elections on 14 September" on the city's website www.beckum.de, eligible voters can check at which polling station they can vote.

Postal voting documents misplaced or not received?
Citizens entitled to vote who have applied for postal voting documents and can credibly assure that they have not received or lost them should contact the Citizens' Office immediately - but no later than 12 noon on Saturday, 13 September - to obtain a new polling card.
