Public holidays: waste collection is postponed

Due to the upcoming public holidays, waste collection will be postponed as follows:

Ascension Day, 14 May
The collection of residual waste and yellow bins will be postponed from Thursday to Friday. The Friday district will be collected on Saturday, 16 May.

Whit Monday, 25 May
The collection of residual waste containers and yellow bins will be postponed by one day throughout the week. This also applies to the residual waste containers.

Corpus Christi, 4 June
The collection of organic waste containers and paper bins will be postponed from Thursday to Friday. The Friday district will be collected on Saturday, 6 June.

Waste disposal - a clean affair

The collection of residual waste, organic waste and paper containers is divided into 5 collection districts. You can find your district in the environmental calendar in the street directory.

Residual waste (containers with grey lids, 80 litres, 120 litres or 240 litres) is collected fortnightly in the odd calendar weeks. Organic waste is collected in the containers with brown lids (120 litres or 240 litres). They are emptied fortnightly in the even calendar weeks.

Paper is collected in 240-litre containers with blue lids. Collection takes place four times a week with every second organic waste collection.
