Photos wanted for the new 2027 environmental calendar

The Environment and Green Spaces Department of the City of Beckum is once again looking for the most beautiful photographs of nature and the countryside in Beckum, Neubeckum, Roland and Vellern for the 2027 Environment Calendar.

Whether it’s stunning wildlife, flowering plants or atmospheric landscapes – all photography enthusiasts are invited to submit their favourite shots.

The photos should be sent by email to mail@kommunikativ.info in JPG format, preferably in portrait orientation and in high resolution.

The closing date for entries is 31 July 2026.

The Environment and Green Spaces Department is looking forward to receiving lots of creative entries and unique insights into nature right on people’s doorsteps.

Waste disposal - a clean affair

The collection of residual waste, organic waste and paper containers is divided into 5 collection districts. You can find your district in the environmental calendar in the street directory.

Residual waste (containers with grey lids, 80 litres, 120 litres or 240 litres) is collected fortnightly in the odd calendar weeks. Organic waste is collected in the containers with brown lids (120 litres or 240 litres). They are emptied fortnightly in the even calendar weeks.

Paper is collected in 240-litre containers with blue lids. Collection takes place four times a week with every second organic waste collection.
