Volunteer card

Since 1 September 2011, the town of Beckum has been issuing volunteer cards to committed residents upon application.
You can find the application form for the volunteer card below under BIS documents (at the end of the entry).
Prerequisite:

• At least five hours per week or 250 hours per year of voluntary work without remuneration or lump-sum expense allowance
• after a period of at least two years

The volunteer card is valid nationwide in all municipalities participating in the project and in all labelled facilities outside the place of residence.

With the volunteer card for committed employees in clubs and associations, the state government, cities, municipalities and districts say thank you. It gives you reduced admission to museums, libraries, theatres, swimming pools, adult education centres and much more.
