Volunteer card

Since 1 September 2011, the town of Beckum has been issuing volunteer cards to committed residents upon application.
You can find the application form for the volunteer card below under BIS documents (at the end of the entry).

Requirements:

• You must volunteer at least 4 hours per week or 200 hours per year. (If you spend an average of at least 4 hours per week with more than one organisation, please complete a separate application form for each organisation and submit all application forms together).
• You must have been a volunteer for at least 2 years.
• They may receive an expense allowance as long as this does not exceed the tax-free allowance for voluntary work (960 euros) or the exercise leader allowance (3,300 euros).

The volunteer card is valid nationwide in all municipalities participating in the project and in all labelled facilities outside your place of residence.

With the volunteer card for committed employees in clubs and associations, the state government, cities, municipalities and districts say thank you. It gives you reduced admission to museums, libraries, theatres, swimming pools, adult education centres and much more.
