One-time allowances according to SGB XII

  • Performance specification

In principle, the need for necessary living expenses within the framework of social welfare (SGB XII) is covered by the standard rates or standard benefits. In addition, one-off benefits can only be considered in individual cases for

    1. the initial furnishing of the flat (including household appliances)
    2. initial equipment for pregnancy and birth (including clothing) and
    3. school trips lasting several days within the framework of school regulations.

These one-off benefits can also be paid to people who are not in need of assistance on an ongoing basis, but who cannot meet the necessary need for one-off benefits from their own resources. This is usually the case if the qualifying income only slightly exceeds the ongoing need.
Please make an appointment in advance by telephone for a personal consultation or to submit an application.
