Assistance with living costs

  • Performance specification

People who are unable to receive either a citizen's allowance or basic income support in old age and in the event of reduced earning capacity are entitled to assistance with living expenses as part of social assistance.
This may apply, for example, in the event of a temporary full reduction in earning capacity or if you are receiving an old-age pension before the age of 66, if your own income and assets or those of your spouse/partner are not sufficient to cover your living expenses.
In contrast to basic income support in old age and in the event of reduced earning capacity, the ability of children or parents to support themselves is also regularly checked.
Please make an appointment in advance by telephone for a personal consultation or to submit an application.
