The following must be brought to the first appointment: official photo ID, passport photo, severely disabled person's pass, doctor's certificate stating that a fishing test cannot be taken due to the disability.

Replacement fishing licence

Annual fishing licence/ five-year fishing licence

Once you have passed the fishing examination, you can have an annual fishing licence or a five-year fishing licence issued at the Citizens' Office.

Youth fishing licence

A youth fishing licence can be issued for young people from the age of 10. This is only valid if a holder of an annual or five-year fishing licence goes fishing with them. The child does not have to be present when applying for the licence.

Special fishing licence

Persons who are unable to take a fishing examination due to a physical, mental or psychological disability may be issued a special fishing licence. The special fishing licence only entitles the holder to fish when accompanied by a holder of a fishing licence. The special fishing licence is issued for 1 year or for 5 years (calendar year).

Spare fishing rod

If the fishing licence is lost or destroyed during the period of validity, a duplicate can be issued on request.
