16 girls and boys get a taste of working life

How do you use a fire extinguisher? What services does the citizens' office offer? How are bodies of water ecologically developed? How do you build a road or a new market square? And how is the city news distributed?

16 girls and boys took the opportunity at the City of Beckum to swap school for a day at the fire brigade, the Environment and Greenery Department, the Beckum Citizens' Office, the Civil Engineering Department and the Press Office as part of Girls' and Boys' Day.
