summer swimming season offers many highlights

Outdoor pools are in the starting blocks

Preparations for the coming swimming season are already in full swing at both outdoor pools. The pools are also gradually filling up again.

Weather permitting, the Neubeckum outdoor pool will open its doors on 10 May. The Beckum outdoor pool starts its season on 17 May. Admission is free on both opening days. The indoor pool opens for the last time this season on 13 May.

This year, bathers can once again look forward to numerous highlights: Neubeckum outdoor pool celebrates its outdoor pool festival on 4 June (Corpus Christi), while Beckum outdoor pool welcomes all guests to the outdoor pool party on 14 June. Both events are organised by the respective sponsoring associations. If the weather is good, aquafitness will also be offered again (dates to follow), and large play equipment in the water will provide fun and variety. Film fans should already make a note of 3 July, when the Beckum outdoor pool will be transformed into an open-air cinema.

For the fourth time, children and young people can enjoy free admission to the Neubeckum outdoor pool during the summer holidays - made possible by another generous donation from Reinhard Habrock.

Tickets are available at any time in the online shop baedershop.beckum.de and - after the start of the season - at the outdoor pool ticket offices. There will also be an opportunity to buy season tickets at Neubeckum outdoor pool on 5 May from 3pm to 7pm.

Admission prices and opening hours remain unchanged compared to last year. The ticket offices are manned on Mondays from 13:00 to 17:30, Tuesdays to Fridays from 13:30 to 19:00, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 11:00 to 16:30. During the holidays, the ticket offices open from 9:00 a.m. on Tuesdays to Sundays.
