Helping neighbours in need of care

Viele pflegebedürftige Menschen erhalten im Alltag Unterstützung von Haushaltshilfen, Bekannten oder Betreuungskräften aus der Nachbarschaft. Das Regionalbüro Alter, Pflege und Demenz Münsterland und die Stadt Beckum bieten den nachbarschaftlichen Helferinnen und Helfern am Samstag, 30. Mai, einen ganztägigen Kurs im Julie-Hausmann-Haus, Dr.-Max-Hagedorn-Straße 4-8, an. Dabei geht es etwa um den Umgang mit Beeinträchtigungen, praktische Unterstützung, die Kommunikation mit der pflegebedürftigen Person oder rechtliche Bestimmungen.

Work as a neighbourhood helper can be reimbursed by the care insurance funds in the form of expense allowances. This is subject to certain conditions: the helpers must not be related to the person in need of care and must not live with them in the same household. They must also have at least care level 1. Proof of such a course or a comparable qualification must be provided for billing with the care insurance fund.

Der Kurs ist kostenfrei und richtet sich an alle Interessierten ab 16 Jahren.
