New features at playgrounds in Neubeckum

At Gustav-Moll-Straße, it’s time to buy a ticket and climb aboard the new play train for little conductors and their passengers. A climbing net leads up to the platform, and you can slide back down the slide. Who sets the points? Who drives the train? Lots of little details encourage role-play.

There are also changes afoot at the Im Südfelde playground. In July, a new play structure for younger children will be installed. As the toddler area had to make way for the construction of the nursery, a new play structure featuring various access points, a slide, a hamster tunnel and motor skills elements will soon be installed there.

The Katharinenweg playground has been completely redesigned. The play equipment – a large play structure with a slide, various access routes and connections between the towers, as well as a climbing pole; a structure featuring inclusive elements; sand buckets; a slide and a rope bridge for the little ones, a motor skills wall, a spring rocker and a rolling wheel – have been ordered. The site has been prepared. Installation is scheduled for the end of August.

The town of Beckum will provide separate information regarding the opening of the playgrounds. As for the new play equipment that has already been installed, the town of Beckum’s Department for Children, Young People and Families would like to wish everyone lots of fun exploring it.
