In doing so, the city – like many other local authorities in Germany – is sending a clear message in light of the increasingly dire financial situation facing towns and municipalities.
For several days now, banners and posters at municipal facilities, as well as posts on social media, have been drawing attention to the joint campaign. Today’s visual initiative served to highlight the campaign day.

The German Association of Cities, the German Association of Districts and the German Association of Towns and Municipalities had jointly called for a day of action on 22 June. Across the country, numerous local authorities are taking part with creative initiatives to draw attention to the precarious situation.
