Public fountains temporarily switched off

During routine checks, it was noticed that water consumption at the two fountains was significantly higher than usual. To prevent any potential damage to the equipment and to stop the water loss, they had to be switched off.

“It is important to us to use water responsibly. As soon as we detect any irregularities in consumption, we investigate the cause and take the necessary measures,” explained Horst Schenkel, Head of the Civil Engineering Department at Beckum Town Council.
