Blindness benefit / assistance for severely visually impaired people

Blind people and people with a severe visual impairment are entitled to financial compensation in accordance with the Act on Assistance for the Blind and Deaf (GHBG). The Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL ) is responsible for granting benefits for blind and severely visually impaired people.

You can obtain support in completing the applications from the contact persons. The applications can then be forwarded directly to the relevant LWL office.
