Curtain up for new cultural season

The new "Beckumer Spitzen" cabaret programme for the 2026/2027 season is now available hot off the press at Beckum town halls, municipal facilities, the Beckum Municipal Theatre, Sparkasse Münsterland Ost, Energieversorgung Beckum (EVB) and Beckum retailers.

The "Spitzen-Saison" opens on 9 September with Robert Griess. With "Natürliche Intelligenz - letzter Versuch", Griess presents a cabaret programme on the big questions of humanity and takes stock.

Barbara Ruscher, who is known from TV's "NUHR im Ersten" and "Ladies Night", will be analysing everyday topics from a female perspective on 13 October. She also delves deep into the psyche of men with leaf blowers or raps convincingly about her e-bike "21 gears, cool battery in the linkage".

With "Simply my Best", Jörg Knör presents the highlights of his five-decade stage career on his farewell tour on 6 November. His parodies of all the chancellors and popes will not be missing, nor will his tributes to Udo Jürgens or Karel Gott. The cabaret evening is presented exclusively by Sparkasse Münsterland Ost.

"So kurz davor" is the new programme by the a cappella group "Anders". On 14 January of the new year, Anders go all out and sing about life in all its facets in their own poetic way. The brilliant evening show guarantees an unmistakable pop sound, authentic songs and a closeness to the audience that is unrivalled.

On Valentine's Day, 14 February, Holger Blüder dedicates his musical cabaret evening to love: "Love is... - songs about marriage and other disasters". With his skill and charm, Holger Blüder takes us through the whole spectrum of what makes the life of two people together unique and sometimes so wonderfully absurd.

Anyone who loves Westphalian cabaret should not miss the Bullemänner with "Murks" on 11 March. Let yourself be whisked away into the incredible world of the Westphalian continent and experience the highest art of storytelling under the premise: Every thing has three sides, a positive, a negative and a funny one.

Marlene Dietrich - icon of film history, vamp and diva. This actress was more contradictory, modern and uncompromising than any other Hollywood star. With her reading based on memories of and by Marlene Dietrich, the exceptional actress Claudia Michelsen presents the life of Marlene Dietrich on 10 April.

The 2026/2027 cabaret season ends on 2 June with the "Junge Junge!" duo, who will present a top-class evening of magic and comedy. The show "Hut ab!" is an exciting mix of rousing magic and likeable comedy. Honoured with the Sarmoti Award for exceptional magic, the duo will stretch the audience's muscles with laughter and amazement. This magical evening is presented exclusively by EVB.

Individual tickets for the events are available from 22 June at a pre-sale price of 26 euros (box office 28 euros) from the Beckum town council offices (Beckum and Neubeckum locations) or via www.beckum.de/kartenvorverkauf.

Notes for subscribers

With a subscription, which can be purchased at the Beckum town council offices in Beckum and Neubeckum or by email at buergerbuero@beckum.de from 1 June, you save 25 percent compared to individual ticket sales. The town of Beckum is offering 8 cabaret evenings at a pre-sale price of 156 euros. In addition to the price saving, subscribers can also secure their favourite seats. A new feature is that every subscriber will receive a voucher for a cold drink of their choice on an evening at the municipal theatre.

The subscription documents are sent to customers free of charge. The subscription card can be passed on to a third party if the subscriber is unable to attend an event. And, of course, a subscription is a wonderful gift for cabaret fans.
