Anticipation in the centre of Vellern: the symbolic ground-breaking ceremony with those involved marks the start of construction work on the new village square.
The public combined sewerage system and the asphalt surface were renewed over a length of around 410 metres on Zementstraße between Oelder Straße and Wilhelmsstraße.
2,200 square metres of asphalt, 1,700 square metres of concrete block paving and 530 square metres of green space: the eastern section of Dechant-Schepers-Straße has now been completed after a 5-month construction period.
