New residential neighbourhood "An der Steinbruchallee" is presented

Around 210 residential units are to be built on an area of around 5.5 hectares - in the form of detached, semi-detached and terraced houses as well as apartment blocks. A centrally located day care centre rounds off the offer.

Living and nature are interwoven
The connection between living and nature is a central concern of the neighbourhood development: a so-called "green joint" forms the open space planning backbone of the urban development concept and connects the city centre with the open space planned to the north via "Steinbruchallee". The basis for this concept is provided by the award-winning design by the QUERFELDEINS planning office, which won the "Steinbruch Nord" competition.

Early public information on 8 July
All interested citizens are cordially invited to find out more about the project and the development plan no. 74 "An der Steinbruchallee" at an early public information event. The event will take place on Tuesday, 8 July at 6 pm in the auditorium of the Antoniusschule (Antoniusstraße 5 - 7). Registration is not required.

The event offers the opportunity to find out about the objectives and content of the planned development in the north of the Beckum district and to put forward your own questions and suggestions. The Urban Development Committee decided on early public participation on 25 June.
