The festival of cultures "Hand in Hand" is characterised by cultural togetherness and shows the interest in celebrating together. Intercultural encounters and mutual respect can be experienced and experienced. On this day, people from different nations should find it easier to talk to each other and simply have a good time.

Who is taking part?
There will be dance, music or sports on the big stage, and groups from the different nations will present their work at the stands. Culinary delicacies from all over the world will be on offer. There will also be activities for children such as face painting or a tomb castle.

Who is behind it?
The event is organised by the Integration Council of the City of Beckum, Innosozial gGmbH Ahlen and the Social Services Department of the City of Beckum.

The Festival of Cultures will take place on Sunday, 15 September 2024 at Westenfeuermarkt.

For years, the Social Services Department of the City of Beckum has organised the traditional international football tournament as a small field tournament in the Jahnstadion Beckum shortly before the summer holidays. In addition to the senior tournament with 14 international teams, the multicultural get-together with international food and drinks is not neglected.
