Fun and games for children and young people at the Altes E-Werk
No boredom during the summer holidays
First holiday week from 14 to 18 July
Delicious cocktails will be prepared and served at the Open Meeting on 14 July. Get creative with graffiti spraying on 15 July (cost: 1 euro). Afterwards, hands and arms can be decorated with henna paint at the Offener Treff. The first week of the holiday ends with the "Superheroes" project in cooperation with the school social work department of the Albert-Magnus-Gymnasium, the Grundschule an den Kastanien primary school and the Beckum public library. Here, children aged 10 to 12 can get a taste of various workshops centred around superheroes. From 10:00 to 15:30, participants can try their hand at media, creativity and games. The cost contribution is 10 euros for materials and catering.
Second holiday week from 21 to 25 July
In the second holiday week, children aged 6 and over can immerse themselves in the world of theatre. They will work together to create their own theatre play. The cost for this project is 15 euros.
Third holiday week from 28 July to 1 August
On 28 July, the youth club is open to everyone aged 6 and over. An excursion to the spectacular exhibition at the "Phoenix des Lumières" in Dortmund takes place on 29 July for everyone aged 6 and over (cost contribution: 5 euros). That's possible from 30 to 31 July. Everyone between the ages of 6 and 14 will experience an exciting night, including dinner and breakfast together. The cost contribution is 5 euros. Children aged 6 and over can get creative with batik on 31 July. Please bring a white T-shirt and 1 euro. On 1 August, a trip to the bowling centre in Hamm (cost: 5 euros).
Fourth holiday week from 4 to 8 August
The fourth holiday week includes table tennis and table football tournaments as well as gaming and cooking activities in addition to the Open Meeting. Another highlight is the Japan Day on 5 August. The Alte E-Werk team invites all interested parties to an exciting day centred around anime, cosplay and more. The cost contribution is 1 euro.
Holiday play days from 9 to 15 August (information to follow)
The house will be closed during the 5th week of the holidays. The Alte E-Werk team will then be supporting the town of Beckum and the Phönix-Team Beckum e. V. with the holiday play days, which will take place from 9 to 15 August at the Aktivpark Phoenix.
Sixth holiday week from 18 to 22 August
The last holiday week starts with a trip to the planetarium in Bochum. The cost contribution is 5 euros. In addition to the open meeting place, the house also offers a kids' cinema, a water fight and a billiards tournament. A fee of 1 euro is charged for the kids' cinema.
The end of 6 varied weeks of summer holidays is celebrated with a barbecue on 22 August (fee: 1 euro).

Declarations of consent can be requested from the team for excursions, projects and overnight stays. Registration is required for these events.
