This is what it's all about:
In addition to dealing with the fixtures and fittings on Hansaring, the infrastructural changes in the immediate vicinity are to be considered holistically. The new development areas that have been built in the southern section in recent years and are still being built play a role here, as do the social facilities along the ring road, such as the AWO day care centre, the retirement home and the vocational college. The traffic planning is intended to show how the traffic area can (prospectively) develop due to the changed requirements and how traffic problems and deficiencies can be eliminated. A step-by-step implementation is planned.

Other traffic planning objectives include improving the situation for cyclists and creating additional crossing options for pedestrians. At the same time, it is necessary for the Hansaring/Südring to fulfil its function as part of the reserved network and for the road to be upgraded in accordance with the regulations. This also takes into account parts of the roads that lead into it, such as Everkeweg, Göttfricker Weg and Dalmerweg. The possibility of setting up a cycle lane is presented for Everkeweg.

Exchange on the variants
Before a final planning variant is decided on by the Urban Development Committee, the city administration would like to discuss the planning variants with citizens.
